OK, now we all know the correct pronunciation of this stalwart Swedish brand is pronounced “Tool-ie”, right? Can we just tell you how many phonetic briefing notes were sent and follow up phone calls made to journalists who still couldn’t say the name correctly during interviews with Thule management? America, you’re welcome. 

ExOfficio – Go West, Naked Cowboy!

What’s a cowboy doing in Times Square anyway? When ExOfficio was introducing a new look for its distinctive Give-N-Go® underwear, we thought it only natural to partner with Robert John Burck, better known as The Naked Cowboy®, to walk the floor and serenade attendees of the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow wearing their super comfy new briefs…and little else. Needless to say, he attracted plenty of attention.       

RLX Ralph Lauren – Getting the Warm and Fuzzy?

Stand offish no longer! After experiencing lackluster results from previous forays into the outdoor and ski markets, Fendler encouraged the company to let down its guard a bit and embrace the process of product testing and media reviews about its apparel. By incorporating open concepts into the design of their OR and SIA trade show booths, media were able to gain access to the products they were interested in. Imagine that!   

Sorel – The infamous Caribou Boot Turns 25. 

Just as the stalwart Canadian winter boot turned 25, the fashion press took notice as they graced the pages of Vogue and GQ along with NY Fashion Week runways. Did you catch them in Disney’s ‘Mystery, Alaska’? 

PrimaLoft – Road Show, Snow Show.

Setting the right mood during a media event is important. To introduce the media to the world of PrimaLoft, our team packed up a cargo van full of PrimaLoft gear, fun props and high tailed it down to New York City. With time to spare, a bland hotel suite was transformed into an absolutely brrrrrrriliant winter wonderland! Thus began a 10 year run of uniquely themed events that informed and entertained PrimaLoft’s key media influencers.  

Fila – Grant Hill gets Local.

Leveraging athlete sponsorships is vital to maximizing the investment. To boost awareness of its association with Grant Hill and new website, Fila launched the Hill in the House event – a contest where a young boy from Utah won an afternoon spending time with Grant. The event got tons of local media coverage that was also picked up by national press, which drove traffic to its new website.
